Hindsight Says- Should Have Made a Move

Les rants on about the Indians struggles (again)…

Hafner, Peralta, Cabrera are all struggling, and even though Martinez is hitting for average, our clean-up man hasn’t hit a homer yet. He has nine RBI. Do they have enough offense to get the job done? Will anyone be available for trade?

Can I admit… Im not a fan of Les.

Actually seeing him speak with a human, Waiting TILL next year, and his lack of knowledge about the internet thingy kinda put the nail in ole Les for me.
Not that I dont agree with some of his opinions.. but hes kinda in the Kenny Rhoda bucket of Cleveland sports talking heads in my book.

You can say whatever you want Jeremy.

I am not sad that the videos are blocked when I’m at work. There is also a reason I haven’t watched the news on TV for well over 5 years.

I’m not trying to hate on Les, my feeling has nothing to do with him. Its that good blogs (like this one) are >>>>> talking heads, in just about every way, for me.

It’s not fair to question Wedge’s success last year as being perhaps only a fluke by relating it to the transitional period in which he was brought in to head a retooling team. Wedge has done a great job, and this post by Les is just more of the same monotone, “Father-nags-son-for-misplacing-tools” sort of thing. Did he actually complain that Victor, who has been beating the stitching off the baseball, has not hit a homerun? Who cares?

In short, it’s too early to start getting snippy. The Tribe has lost a load of close contests and remain competitive in the division. Just relax, Les, and try to imagine yourself speaking in a different tone for once. Try to imagine that you are capable of something other than nitpicking disguised as analysis.

“The voice of truth and reason…” As far as self-gloss goes, this has to be the most ridiculous I have ever seen. And to think that he says that without his tongue bulging into his cheek….
