Jackson Can’t Capitalize, Still Winless
September 12, 2008Seasons On The Brink?
September 12, 2008Those of us living in the Cleveland area will have a lot of time to kill this weekend prior to our duo of night games that will be the focus of millions. You can use the sun light and spare time to do silly things like yard work, or you can get yourself a beverage of choice and watch a few other teams duke it out before ours grace the screen.
With that said, I thought it would be in all of our best interest to know what to expect this weekend as we wait for the eight o’clock hour to roll around not once, but twice. Assuming you do not have television packages that allow you to view whatever you’d like, the following is for your viewing pleasure:
Saturday:
12 PM, ESPN: California @ Maryland (Dave Pasch, Andre Ware)
12 PM, ESPN2: Florida Atlantic @ Michigan State (Pam Ward, Ray Bentley)
3:30 PM, NBC: Michigan @ Notre Dame (Tom Hammond, Pat Haden, Alex Flanagan)
3:30 PM, CBS: Georgia @ South Carolina (Verne Lundquist, Gary Danielson, Tracy Wolfson)
3:30 PM, ESPN: Oregon at Purdue (Brad Nessler, Bob Griese, Paul Maguire, Stacey Dales)
3:30 PM, ABC: Penn State @ Syracuse (Bob Wischusen, Brock Huard)
7 PM, ESPN2: Auburn @ Mississippi State (Mark Jones, Bob Davie)
Sunday:
1 PM, CBS: Tennessee Titans @ Cincinnati Bengals (Don Criqui, Dan Fouts)
4 PM, CBS: New England Patriots @ New York Jets (Jim Nantz, Phil Simms)
4 PM, FOX: New York Giants @ St. Louis Rams (Joe Buck, Troy Aikman)
**
And for those worried that we would be forced to watch the recently moved match between the Houston Texans and Baltimore Ravens, it will only be aired in the cities of Houston and Baltimore. Cleveland-area viewers will still be able to watch the Philadelphia Eagles take on the Dallas Cowboys.
And of course, your broadcasters for our games will be the norm: Brent Musburger, Kirk Herbstreit, Lisa Salters, and Erin Andrews for the Buckeyes/Trojans; Al Michaels, John Madden, and Andrea Kremer will be bringing us Browns/Steelers.

First things first: it ain’t going to be sunny this weekend, and I doubt you’ll get much yard work done while it’s raining for five straight days! 🙂
so…who’s helping me build an arc?
I’ll be in Cleveland on Sunday…
To Hell with Joe Buck and Troy Aikman.
Seriously, if anyone out there likes Joe Buck, I haven’t met them.
