Bitter Towards Butch?
November 13, 2008Restoring The Faith, Win By Win
November 13, 2008“Good Terrelle leads the Big Ten in pass efficiency. Bad Terrelle is at the control of the Big Ten’s worst pass offense — although that is more an indictment of Ohio State coach Jim Tressel’s constrictive game plan than his freshman’s inability to read defenses (he’s gotten better) or tendency to float passes (also better).
Good Juice leads the Big Ten in passing yardage (2,769) and touchdown passes (20) and is second to Pryor in pass efficiency. Bad Juice has thrown a league-high 14 interceptions as Illinois has slumped to 5-5 off a Rose Bowl season.
Who has the upper hand heading into Saturday’s game in Champaign?”
All I know is that we’re going to get to see two of the more electric quarterbacks in the NCAA this weekend. Still having Beanie Wells with Rashard Mendenhall in Steel-town could be the difference-maker. If we have any hopes of an at-large BCS bid, we better impress a lot of people, that’s all I know.

Go Bucks
I feel much better about this game than I did after the Penn State game. I don’t know if it was Tressel hearing all the critics or just realizing it as he watched the game footage from the Penn State game, but the only way for the Buckeyes to succeed is to throw the ball downfield. And that’s exactly what they did against Northwestern and Pryor did it better than he ever has this season. Which in turn opened up the running the game for Beanie. And with the defense playing better now than ever before, I like their chances to get some much needed revenge.
