Most of you are well aware the Cavaliers are squaring off against the New York Knicks tonight in Madison Square Garden. And while we have seen a bit of a decline in “LeBron 2010″ talk over the past few weeks, I am pretty sure that Nike’s new sneaker release will help stir things back up. If you aren’t one for the Yankee hat or Cowboys t-shirt, you may just want to stop reading. Don’t say I didn’t warn you…
Behold the Zoom VI: Taxi Cab Edition
This pair was released exclusively in New York City, which is known for its abundance of yellow taxis, on February 4th,2009. The same day that LeBron James went head on with the New York Knicks at the worlds most famous arena, Madison Square Garden. The Nike Zoom Lebron VI is one of the finest Nike Lebron models yet and this design successfully demonstrates that with the variety of high quality materials used in its production.
These kicks are said to be even rarer than the “Big Apple” edition that came out towards the end of 2008. We have a few grabs of the shoes below. Pay special attention to the tounge detail. Oh, and feel free to spout off about the whole LeBron-New York bit if you’re not tired of it to this point.
Enjoy.
