Ten Bold Predictions: 2009 Cleveland Indians
April 3, 2009Cavaliers Open Thread: Game #76 – Cavs at Magic
April 3, 2009A solid week all around. Baseball’s nearing. The NBA playoffs are drawing a bit closer as well. The NFL draft is there, you know, for those that long for football news. Another week in the books here in Cleveland. Before we head to the weekend, here’s a quick recap of what went down…
Things started off well with the Cavaliers coming back from 15 down to win convincingly against the Mavericks.

And while Andy Varejao has been playing very well as of late, what to do once Ben Wallace is ready to suit up?
—
On the similar injury front, outfield Dave Dellucci will start this season on the disabled list. TD obviously has a voodoo doll with a No. 20 on the back.
—
LeBron’s fantasy about playing with Jason Kidd appears to be just that…
—
Alas, he’ll have to hope that Danny Gibson comes through in the clutch.
—
After a three-week blood test, Donte Stallworth was finally charged with the reported DUI Manslaughter. But could get that trimmed a bit if things fall in his favor.
—
DP came strong with his Blue Jackets playoff updates. Here’s the latest.
—
Unfortunately, the Cavaliers winning streak came to an end after we were abused in the paint by the newly healthy Washington Wizards.
—
Could J’Nathan Bullock capitalize on a big season by the Vikings?
—
And finally, what can we expect from this year’s Tribe? We got your predictions right here.

For the weekend, Denny will be manning the weekend ship; he’ll be sporting a freshly pressed pirate outfit complete with eye patch and peg leg. No word on if he’ll type with his hook. Either way, he’ll have one heck of a weekend with the Cavs/Magic match-up tonight, followed by the Spurs game on Sunday. I’m sure he’ll have plenty of non-basketball stuff to discuss as well.
Be afraid. Be very afraid.
Have a good weekend, kids. Go Cavs.
