Madden Curse: Troy Polamalu to Grace Cover of Madden 2010
April 24, 2009While We’re Waiting – Tayshaun on LBJ’s improvements, Pistons’ mental stability, and Browns fans’ mental stability
April 25, 2009With the start of the NFL Draft 24 hours away, we thought it would be beneficial to point you all to a few different places that have featured WFNY’s thoughts on that No. 5 selection.
Dan Labbe was kind enough to have me partake in the Browns-based roundtable over at Cleveland.com, where we discussed players like BJ Raji, Aaron Curry and Mark Sanchez (among others). The entire piece can be read here. The Eugene Monroe addition is my own.
Also, DP and I took part in representing Cleveland over at TheScore.com, answering a few questions on the entire Browns off-season. Unfortunately, we were limited to only “three or four” positions of need. Check it out here. DP went a little “Rock” with his first answer.

Other News and Notes:
– After months of touting Michael Crabtree, Scout.com’s final update has the Browns taking LSU’s Tyson Jackson with the fifth overall selection.
– The OBR weighs inon the Edwards-to-New York talk, other possible destinations for the receiver as well as the possibility of Buffalo (owners of picks 11 and 27) wanting to move up to the fifth slot for one of the big-name offensive tackles.
– The Broncos have reportedly been told that Brady Quinn is not for sale. Perhaps to further increase the value of USC’s Mark Sanchez?
– Peter King reports that the Patriots want to move in to the top 10, and have offered their first and one of their second-rounders to Jacksonville (holders of the eighth pick). The target is said to be a “surprise,” but a lot of pundits believe they love LSU’s Jackson. You can bet that Eric Mangini would love to undercut New England’s pick.

Trade Down. If can’t work out a trade take Jason Smith, Michael Oher, or Eugene Smith whichever one of them makes it to 5. Steer clear of Michael Crabtree, he’s another god forsaken diva. Do not take Sanchez, unless he can be immediately traded. Do not take B.J. Raji.
My Bad, Eugene *Munroe*.
somehow the ravens will get anquan Boldin. i can just feel it.
I usually don’t say this but whatever you do – I don’t want no BJ!
