I think it is worth admitting that the officiating in this game was absolutely awful, and, for one night at least, that Celtics blogger complaining about LeBron no-calls over at TrueHoop maybe has a point. Now look- I’m a huge Cavs homer, and if no team gets a call ever again when they play the Cavs I’m good with that, but this was pretty bad. LeBron probably should have finished the game with four fouls anyway, and a couple that got called for him against Josh Smith were egregious.
But, even if the game was handled by professional referees instead of Violet Palmer and the two volunteers they pulled out of Loudville, the Cavs would have still won by twenty. So, I suppose it is a wash in this instance. However, I can see why opposing players quit out there against Cleveland, they just aren’t going to have anything close go their way.

Any news on Delonte’s status after he got poked in the eye?
Per Windhorst’s Twitter feed, the Cavs are calling him day-to-day, but LeBron said Delonte will be good to go for Game 3.
Thanks, Rock. Sounds good.

Oh, and that is awesome, by the way.
