With Shaquille O’Neal’s reality show (Shaq Vs.) set to premier in about two weeks, the Big Diesel is looking for any challenge that he can find. Next up on the block? Lance Armstrong.
In his latest tweet, O’Neal apparently cleared the last week of August or the first week of September to take on Denny’s writstband supplier. How he would “challenge” the bicyclist is beyond me, but after being shot down on his soccer challenge I think O’Neal would welcome any and all competition.
Recently, the big man challenged soccer star David Beckham to attempt scoring a goal while No. 33 tends goal. Also via Twitter, Shaq called Beckham “lil man,” which apparently did not go over well. Beckham attempted to fire back with a line about Kobe Bryant scoring on O’Neal. Shaq came back with “There’s no way you’d score on me … how many goals did you score for the Galaxy?”
The answer to that question: five.
Shaq will reportedly square off against Albert Pujols and Michael Phelps. We’ll see if Armstrong accepts the challenge. After all, is there anything better than a 300-pound man on a bicycle?
