I want you smothered, want you covered like my waffle house hashbrowns: “The NFL average for completing passes in the 1-to-10 yard range is 67.0 percent. Anderson was at 54.2 last season. In his three years with the Browns, the stats on those passes have been going down for Anderson: 63.0, 57.9 and 54.2. […] Anderson has not been above 60 percent since 2006, when he played five games for the Browns. In his Pro Bowl season of 2007, he was at 57.9 throwing to the sure hands of Kellen Winslow and Joe Jurevicius, not just the sometimes unreliable Braylon Edwards.
What’s the big deal about passes in the 1-to-10 yard range? In most games, about 55 percent of the passes are 10 or fewer yards. Consider that 155-of-285 (54 percent) of Anderson’s attempts last season fell in that category.” [Terry Pluto/Plain Dealer]

“If you think that [More Than a Game] is just about inner-city hoop dreams made good, or its a LeBron James documentary, you’re incorrect. This is a movie about friendship, loyalty, and dreams. Its far from basketball-centric, and I believe that anyone who watches it can relate to its message. If you think you know everything there is to know about the LeBron James / SVSM story, this movie will show you that you don’t. And if you don’t think that this movie will inspire you to some degree, it will.” [Brendan Bowers/Stepien Rules]

Ten Big Ten Questions: A Big Ten Blogger roundtable of sorts. [Rivalry Esq.]

At least the SEC is still “fast” right? “Whoever is making up the rules at the SEC, and in this case I mean the Southeastern Conference, should probably learn why blogs are successful before they make useless edicts.
I’m of course referring to the new rules the conference has placed on non-credentialed media members. To put it simply, the SEC is saying that fans who buy a ticket and watch the game from their seat cannot use that access at games to shoot and post video and take photographs for their money-making fan blog.” [Darren Rovell/CNBC]

Bloodhound Gang refrence.. It’s gonna be a good day.
In addition to all the other crap the SEC is pulling, they’re making it a throw-outable offense to use twitter, facebook, etc. during games. With phones being as awesome as they are, and halftime shows being as lame as they’ve ever been, people are going to tweet, post pictures to facebook, etc. anyone who is in the Swamp this year is going to facebook a status that says “OMG IM NEAR TIME TEBOW LULZZZZZ”.
There’s no way they enforce this, and it’s a huge mistake to begin with.
There are always stats to back up every fan’s opinion but today Terry Pluto has my back. A quarterback’s arm strength and ability to stretch the field is overrated and if that’s all DA brings to the table – which are the points that most bring up – I’ll pass.
BUT CHARLIE, HE THROWS SUCH A GREAT DEEP BALL, WHICH IS ACCENTUATED BY THE FACT THAT EDWARDS DROPS TWO OUT OF EVERY THREE! DA ALL THE WAY!!
DP why are you yelling at everyone.
Nice punctuation, Mr. I Invented The Sarcasm Font.
Do you not read the articles sir. I am boycotting the question mark.
