NFL Free Agency: You be the Browns GM
December 29, 2009Cavs/Hawks Open Thread
December 29, 2009In a football season that was often littered with negative news, GM firings, and trades of perceived core players, the Cleveland Browns will be sending two players to the 2010 Pro Bowl. Return man-turned-wide receiver Joshua Cribbs as well as left tackle Joe Thomas will represent the Orange and Brown in Miami, Florida come January 31st.
The Pro Bowl appearance will be the second for Cribbs and the third for Thomas. Both players earned the recognition in 2007 (along with a few others you may recognize) while Thomas was a representative last season as well.
Congratulations to both players.

Can you please stop having the pop ads, It could be a real deal breaker in visiting your web site
Scharfna- pop ads pay some money.. I understand completely why WFNY does it.
Congrats Josh and Joe, Represent us well!
pontbriand was added to the 07 probowl as a need player. it would be really awesome to see that happen again.
Looks like that native may be getting a little close to K2.
Did Joe have that good of a season? It seems like Pro Bowl bids are similar to the way Gold Gloves are awarded in MLB. Once you win one, consider yourself a shoe-in the next year unless something catastrophic happens.
Not to hate on Joe, he’s a good player and we’re lucky to have him, but I saw him get beat pretty bad several times this season.
Josh Cribbs is taking his entire return team to the Pro Bowl with him. What a stand up thing to do. Class act all the way.
[…] top of being the recipient of back-to-back special teams awards and being named to this year’s Pro Bowl, The Plain Dealer reports that Josh Cribbs was voted Browns Player of the Year. The voting was […]
doesn’t everyone use FireFox to combat pop ups? Pay The Man!
Too bad Zastudil got hurt, he was a shoo-in for the best punter in the league halfway through the season
Technically, it’s the 2008 Pro Bowl that everyone pictured above made. But ya know….minor detail.
@b – I agree. Our line was suspect all year, even the left side.
