The NBA’s Race for Home Court Advantage
March 13, 2010NFL Free Agency: Browns sign QB Jake Delhomme (UPDATED)
March 13, 2010Following their shocking, last second win over rival Michigan yesterday, the top-seeded Ohio State Buckeyes are back in action at 1:40 pm today in Indianapolis. They will take on Big Ten #5 seed Illinois for a berth in the conference championship game Sunday afternoon.
Meanwhile, the #3 seeded Akron Zips play the upstart #9 Ohio Bobcats for the MAC title at 6:00 pm at the Quicken Loans Arena. Winner will get a ticket to the big dance while the loser will likely sit at home and watch for the rest of the college basketball season. The Zips lost their final regular season game at home to Kent State, blowing an opportunity for an automatic bid to the NIT. Ohio, on the other hand, has defeated three straight favorites in a row to advance to the championship game.

‘Eyes always looked gassed.
Pathetic.
Intense games to only play 6 guys…
Thats why OSU can beat anybody on one game, but they are not a good tournament team. Could be a 2nd round exit.
Wow, these Big 10 refs could give the Pac 10 refs a run for terribleness. They’ve handed Illinois 2 free throws and 2 more possessions in the five minutes I’ve been watching. I hope Ohio State got some calls earlier to balance that out, or gets some to close the game.
Terriblosity. One last possession for Los Bucks. HELLO, FRIENDS
Please dont let little Jordan shoot.

The Villain with the rare collegiate triple-double.
didnt want to mention it before for feear of jinx but:
how does illinois not attack turner? he must have played 15 mins with four fouls.
all that said, we certainly haven’t looked like a #1 seed in the last two games..
OU gonna earn a NCAA bid tonight!
GO OHIO!
Top seeds are teams that find ways to win even when they aren’t playing their best. Turner had 10 turnovers today, still put 31 points and they won the game against a likely NCAA tourney team. They’ll be ready next week when they’re facing teams who haven’t had already had two chances to play against us (which Michigan, Illinois, and Minnesota all have).
Sorry about your Flyers, Jacob. For what it’s worth, I didn’t want a technical to be called on Lowery. Tough way to end a game, and a chance at the Big Dance.
YEEEAAAHHHH, BOBCATS!
OU OH YEAH
I can’t see Ohio State going far the way they play – beware of a real bracket buster – hope I’m wrong.
Bobcats are going dancing!!
