SABR-Toothed Triber: Options, Bad & Worse
May 13, 2010Cavaliers Can “Rise Above” Tonight
May 13, 2010We’ll have a final Cavs piece from Andrew later this afternoon, but for now the Indians are going for a sweep of the Kansas City Royals. The Tribe sends David Huff (1-4, 4.60 era) to the mound against Zach Greinke (0-4, 2.51 era). No local television broadcast today, so we will all be listening to Tom Hamilton for this one.
Speaking of radio, catch Scott on the Alan Cox show on WMMS around 4:45. He’ll be talking Cavs and WFNY. Here’s the link to listen online.

The best way to get LaPorta and Valbuena out of their slumps? Start them (for the first time this week!) against Greinke.
Cabrera 2-2. rest of team 1-7.
So Branyan’s been killing the ball and he doesn’t play?
Seems to be working so far, but you’d think Acta would want to get Rusty going if he oculd
Well, they got 4 straight hits with 2 outs to take a 3-0 lead.
lets just only play the white sox and royals all year
Gotta love that one swing of the bat ties the game up. It seems like the Tribe did so much work to get those 3 runs and the Royals just fell backwards into them. We need Greinke’s pitch count to get up there… probably won’t be another inning with 2 seeing-eye singles and a bloop hit to the outfield.
101 pitches for Grienke through five. If the Royals don’t score here, I’d bet they give him at least one more inning to try to get his first win.
Huffing Paint.
That David DeJesus is certainly a level above the Tribe. It must be the “Jesus” part of him.
Ughhhhh we had a great chance with Kearns up there to jump right back in. Double plays make me cry.
Grady fouls out in a clutch situation. 0 for 5 on the day. He’s pretty much 0 for 2010. I don’t get it.
Scott please let us know what it was like talking to that idiot Zumock.
