LeBron’s Letter to Akron a Hollow Gesture
August 3, 2010About the 12 Browns Linebackers…
August 3, 2010Friday we posted the final pairing in our Cleveland Athlete Twitter Tournament. Since then 440 votes have been counted. And the winner is….
Mo Williams (@mogotti2)
The Cavaliers guard came from behind thanks in no small part to RealCavsFans.com who spread the word in their message boards and got the Alabama grad the win. Even with the help, Mo narrowly defeated Cribbs 223-207. (Only one vote was allowed per IP address.)
So congratulations Mo, and thanks to everyone who voted and spread the word about the vote on twitter and beyond.

Aw too bad, I used all 8 of my IP addressed I have access to to vote for Josh. I love Mo though!
I love Mo, but man am I surprised he beat out Cribbs in this tournament.
My 2 fav CLE athlete tweeps… wish both coulda been crowned. But Mo’s expressed hurt over LeBron leaving did exactly what twitter is supposed to do for pro athletes… allows us fans to see another side of them. The side that we don’t see at press conferences. Mo was one of us that night, and we loved him for it.
Noted that we made a forum post on the Cavs website to rally people to vote for Mo, but it doesn’t mean we don’t love Josh Cribbs.
Both of these guys have stated that they love Cleveland. They are both winners in my book.
“allows us fans to see another side of them. The side that we don’t see at press conferences.”
Easter Bunny costume…
=p
Mo knows Twitter…but Mo doesn’t know when to put on a bunny costume.
