It’s the Great Lakes Classic – that venerable tradition, celebrating the clash of two of football’s greatest powers, in an all-important preseason matchup. It is, however, the most important and indicative preseason contest for the Browns and those who follow their every move with great interest. It’s the one contest that most closely resembles a regular season game when the outcome is supposed to matter. It is expected that the first team offense and defense will play at least the first half and potentially see some time in the third quarter as well, and that includes quarterback Jake Delhomme. Kickoff at Ford Field is scheduled for just after 5 PM on this early evening Saturday night contest. Join us in the comments as the anticipation ratchets up with the season getting closer and closer.
