LeBron James gets the buisness at Cedar Point this week: “ Jump to the one minute mark of the video to hear a woman yelling “I bet you miss” and a guy chiming in “‘Bron shoot left-handed, your elbow hurts” and “Just like Game 5.” I think the warm reception at his bike-a-thon over the weekend gave LeBron the idea things were back to normal for him in Ohio. Just like the decision to do “The Decision,” he was wrong.” [You Been Blinded]

The CAK: “One of the saddest things about The Decision/LeBacle/LeBromaggedon is LeBron’s attempt to drive a wedge into the heart of Clevekron by emphasizing the differences between Akron and Cleveland. In doing so, LeBron’s obscured one of the best things about Northeast Ohio, which is that it’s such a relatively large region with two such distinct cities (three, really, and within such diverse parkland) that are so easy to get to and fro thanks to decent spacing, a lot unlike, say, New York and Yonkers (or even Manhattan and Queens).” [Cleveland Frowns]

“Is this team still worth watching without Santana? Santana was the brightest light on this 2010 team, with a .401 OBP and six home runs in 46 games. But Santana had proved he at least didn’t belong in the minors anymore. He’s something the Indians can be sure of (well, as sure as you can be about a catcher who just had season-ending knee surgery), they know next year they can pencil in Carlos Santana at catcher. What the Indians don’t know, is about the rest of this team.” [Deep Left Field]

The flip side to the Matt LaPorta discussion: “Matt LaPorta has come through on numerous occasions this season. However, things have not been perfect. With a .254 average, he has had 64 hits in 252 at bats. This batting average is identical to his average last season. This includes 7 home runs, matching his 7 total in fewer at bats last season. LaPorta is consistent, to say the least. One promising aspect is that his on base percentage has increased from .308 to .324, showing signs of increased patience and an improved batters eye. Otherwise, it seems as if his growth has been frozen in place.” [Cleveland Hope]

And finally, what can the Cavaliers expect from Ramon Sessions? [Stepien Rules]
