September 12, 2010#2 Ohio State Buckeyes vs.
#12 Miami Hurricanes
Ohio Stadium, Columbus, OH
ESPN/ESPN3, WKNR 850 AM,
3:30 p.m. EST
The Ohio State Buckeyes take on the Miami Hurricanes today in a huge rematch of the 2003 BCS National Championship. A week after a win over Marshall, the Bucks get their first big contest of the season against the Hurricanes.
It will be a showdown between two of the most highly touted quarterbacks in the country between Ohio State’s Terelle Pryor and Miami’s Jacory Harris. Whoever has a better first half controlling the ball and dictating the tempo should be in a good position for victory.
Follow along with the contest below and share your thoughts on the unfolding events. Below the jump you will find a list of previews and analysis from us and around the web.

mark may can shove it. then we’ll see some quick twitch muscles.
if you missed it… here’s his preview. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PV1arflfbJs
he dredges up the CORRECT fiesta bowl call and then calls ohio state slow. I gotta go put a bet on this. STAT.
Might wanna hold that bet, Jim.
We’re back to TP’s only allowed to run on 3rd and long territory.
I hate football in Ohio. Why can’t we just let it fly…EVER?
i no longer chirp while game is in play. made that mistake last night with moneyline play on marshall.
what the HELL is going on with the special teams? and terrell.. getting away with some shakey throws. would like to see more of the moving pocket and option plays. seems like 7 yards there for the taking every time.

Agree, move that pocket…
I reserve myself from commenting in OSU threads, but… why not call a TO there on 3rd down just before the half near the goal line?!?
Badly mismanaged, Robbie…
Do you think Jacory Harris is colorblind?
remember this guy? @sgorten

Miami just isn’t a top 25 team, that’s clear. It’ll take some competition to see if Ohio State is any good.
Say it with me, everyone: “TOUCHDOWNS”
What’s that about the quiet Ohio State stadium, Miami? #swaggerback
lol at mack. whatever.
jack, what i wanted to say is that when a national analyst makes unprecedentedly douchie comments like mark may did today, it’s a green light to load up!
i cant tell if our D is suspect or if tressel’s prevent D made them look soft. but damn, it looked like miami sonned our D-line. would have liked to see more of hayward in the backfield. and pryor missed too many bunnies and easily could’ve had two/three picks.
but damn it was sweet to shut those U fans up. they’re the cowboys fans of ncaa.
“they’re the cowboys fans of ncaa.”
Pretty good analogy actually.
no, it’s the other way around. Miami had JimmieJ first.
anyways, Buckeye D is definitely among the best in the land, so any bickering beyond is nitpicking. our offense hopefully comes around, our toughest games are the last 3 of the year now (PSU, Iowa, Michigan).
no, i don’t think Wisconsin is all that great this year.
I don’t think you have to worry about Michigan. They’re an 8-4 team at best, and I say that as a die-hard Michigan fan. I also don’t think you have to worry about Penn State. They look horrible.
