WFNY Podcast: The Future of McCoy, Mangini and Holmgren

Coming out of the bye week, TD and Craig chat with Cleveland.com’s Dan Labbe about the Browns and only the Browns.  A midway point assessment of sorts, the three guys talk about the past seven games and what the next nine may provide.

Can Reggie Hodges lead the team in rushing once again?  Is Eric Mangini’s job safe, regardless of win total?  Will we ever see Jake Delhomme taking snaps again in Cleveland?

Check out their thoughts on these matters below.  Of course, you can check them out at Cleveland.com as well.  Do enjoy.

Thank you all for that enjoyable podcast. I am very happy with the progress the Browns made this year. Last year I couldn’t even bear to watch them, until the final 4 games. This year they have been competitive in every game. They have been fun to watch. I am happy with Mangini…I doubt many coaches could do better with the talent the Browns have. And he’s doing it with good character players, which I like. I am pleased with the job Tom Heckert and company did with the draft. I admit I felt they risked too much with the Hardesty pick – the two 3rd round picks could have landed more depth or even a potential starter. But having watched you-tube videos of Hardesty, I could see the great potential.

Based on what I’ve seen so far I’m optimistic the Browns are headed in the right direction and wouldn’t change anything.
