NFL Trade News: Browns Acquire Brodrick Bunkley

As the Philadelphia Eagles continue to get deeper on defense, Browns general manager Tom Heckert is once again fishing in familiar waters, this time acquiring DT Brodrick Bunkley for a 2012 fifth-round pick.

Bunkley, 27, is – for all intents and purposes  - a three-technique lineman but only has six total sacks recorded in 76 games played. While he will certainly provide depth along Dick Jauron’s new four-man front, whether he can rebound from an otherwise disappointing career remains to be seen.

Definitely a great get. Now we will have Rubin, Taylor, Bunkley and Scaifering rotating at DT.If only we had the same sorta depth at DE…. (also wouldnt it have been nice if Samuels was in this deal too)

Easily seems worth a 5th round pick.
