Attention Cleveland Browns Front Office…

To the attention of Mike Holmgren and Tom Heckert:

Someday, you may be sitting in a meeting when a suggestion is brought up to put together a video or ad campaign that resembles this:

It should go without saying, but let me say it anyway- please do not do this.

Really. It would be a pretty big slap in the face. Thanks.

    WOW. Just wow

Ram Rule #6: If you aren’t a complete , please don’t come to the game or call yourself a fan.

(I’ve never been more proud of being an Clevelander in my life.)

  • Return of the (Alex) Mack

    This is why Shurmur left

  • Lyon

the old lady is the best. Does she even know what she’s getting herself into?

  • BisonDeleSightings

More embarrassing: the people in the video or the idea that Rams fans don’t know when to cheer?

  • mgbode

the Rams should be returned to LA based on the evidence portrayed in this video alone.

  • humboldt

Every fan base likely has its own set of quirks/idiosyncracies/traditions (e.g. Muni Lot, “here we go Brownies, here we go” chant, etc). Although the production of this video is a bit campy, there’s nothing wrong with creating a little solidarity between fans, right?

  • PNR

What’s the source of that? Rams’ FO?

  • christopher

    Fan Up St. Louis?

  • BisonDeleSightings

@christopher – Not until their fans all wear white!

  • Ben

Are they allowed to stand though?

  • natedawg

That was cool. Never seen a video before of all of the fans of the franchise together at the same time! Shouldn’t be hard for the 9 of them to get synchronized up.

  • Garry Owen

I have a comment “awaiting moderation.” Man, I feel like I’m waiting for my dad to get home with his belt – and I’m not even sure what I did wrong (though I have some hunch).

Anyway, as I mentioned in my comment currently residing in pergatory, I have never in my life been prouder to be from Cleveland. The closest thing I’ve seen to the type of d-baggery (at the risk of further probation) in that video was at Paul Brown Stadium (the one in Cincinnati). The Rams should play the Bengals every week.

Why have Ram Rules when you can have a Prince with a PowerTowel? #RonP4ClevelandBrownsPRDirector

  • Titus Pullo

    Holy smokes!

Thank goodness the Rams left Cleveland all those years ago.

  • crobarred

Will they have to redo the rules when the Rams move their franchise back to LA?

  • cleveland12

Judging from this, I think the Rams fans must have a collective IQ of a field goal.
So when do we play them…?
    Saaaaaaaacccccck that Ram!

  • MallaLubba

    Slow clap it out, everybody.

  • BuckeyeDawg

This is right up there with the “jump to conclusions mat”…

@12 – I have a cousin who caught all kinds of grief from the guy behind him because he was standing during at times during the Cincy game. Never thought I would see that happen at a Browns game.

  • Mike E

    Team RamRod!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Sean

    I have no words.

  • Chris

I, for one, vote Browns fans follow these rules to the T, but only when hosting the rams.

Especially we we can all fail horribly at feigning enthusiasm while yelling “sack”.

  • james

    ok everyone lets…..

  • scott

I lost it at the slow clap.

  • snap

its not as bad as this one for the rams

  • Foghorn Leghorn

This is sad, but only makes me mourn for the ole’ Municipal where standing, cursing, and being generally some of the rowdiest fans in football was encouraged. Now we have a corporate funhouse with everything toned down 200%. Gimme the old Browns with the old fans please. Oh, and if anyone behind me complains about me standing up on a defensive 3rd and 1, I should have the right to punch them in the face without repercussion.

  • jimkanicki

    rams rules 6-10.

Kind of reminded me of when the HEAT put out the Fan Rules! The best one was show up to the game before tipoff! Who doesn’t show up to games early?Probably fans that go to a game for the atmosphere and to say “I went to a HEAT game!” Pathetic! The root word of fan is fanatic! a fanatic doesn’t need to be explained the rules,he makes them.
