Irving: Portland’s Fast Break Points Were My Fault
January 9, 2012Tebow, Demaryius, & Dirk: Cleveland Heroes
January 9, 2012Former Cleveland Browns head coach Romeo Crennel has reportedly signed a three-year contract to become the next head coach of the Kansas City Chiefs. The defensive coordinator became interim head coach when team president Scott Pioli opted to cut ties with Todd Haley, the firey head coach that took the team to the playoffs just one season earlier.
Crennel, a notorious player-friendly head coach, was 2-1 as interim head coach including a win over the then-undefeated Green Bay Packers. The Chiefs were thought to be interested in Josh McDaniels as an offensive coordinator before the former Patriot’s play-caller decided that he will go back to New England. Former Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Jack Del Rio is rumored to be among Crennel’s choices to replace him as defensive coordinator.
The Chiefs will select either 11th or 12th in the upcoming 2012 NFL Draft with their final slot to be determined by coin flip.

Doesn’t Jack Del Rio run a 4-3 Defense??
Wondering if Belichik somehow slips a Stupid Chip under the skin of departing employees to order to keep his genius status intact. Really, Scott Pioli?
The only question is does Romeo last the whole three years or gets let go after two?
romeo was the dumbest head football coach ive ever seen in the nfl… … after some consideration, i extend that statement to include college football too.
is it just me?
In other news, Kansas City barbecue, sandwich, and pizza shop employees are reportedly rejoicing over new-found job security.
I love Romeo, but I’ve always imagined him ordering delivery on the sideline when he’s got that card (menu?) in front of his face talking on his headphones.
