The Cavaliers fell behind early once again, but this time the comeback ran out of steam. Cleveland cut the lead to 1 at 71-70, where it stayed for over 2 minutes, but couldn’t get any shots to fall and lost to the Hornets who were playing their third game in as many nights. I need to say this somewhere, and this is the appropriate place to say it even though nobody is going to read it.  Why in the world did Ryan Hollins play the entire 4th quarter?  TT only played 15 minutes last night, and sure he had 4 fouls but why wouldn’t you bring him in to replace Hollins with 6 minutes left on the clock and the Cavs vying for a win?  There was no defensive presence in the paint in the 4th quarter and the Hornets took full advantage of it.  Anyone out there wondering why the Cavs aren’t trying to throw more games might have been appeased by this one.  That move was a real head-scratcher.

it’s even worse than you imagine, Pat. Twice in the last week he popped up doing the sports news on WUAB with the anchor for no discernible reason. Expecting any minute he’ll cackle insanely, pull off the Hollins mask and reveal Jack Nicholson on stilts underneath.

Ryan Hollins = NBA’s Russell Branyan
