Update: NFL Free Agency: Bengals DE Frostee Rucker to the Browns
March 14, 2012NFL Free Agency: Browns to Release G Eric Steinbach
March 14, 2012Finally a source you can trust!
Mike Adams reports on his own twitter account that he is headed to the airport to visit the Denver Broncos.
As he says, “unfortunately” he obviously wants to be back in Cleveland. Adams just finished up a three-year $4.1 million deal with the Browns as he heads into his 30s. Mike Adams has proven to be a valuable asset because of his versatility rotating between safety and cornerback. That being said, he isn’t the kind of guy you can spend too much money on.
More importantly, the Browns need to get 28-year-old Dimitri Patterson back first.

Mike Adams isn’t good anyway.
Yea I wouldn’t exactly miss him either.
I’d take him over Usama Young, but not at the money he’s likely going to ask for.
I’ve met Mike Adams a couple of times and he doesn’t strike me as the type that will look for a huge contract. He loves the Cleveland fans and told me last year at training camp he wants to spend many more years with the Browns. Has anyone reported whether Adams’ agent and the Browns have even talked?
Which means the Browns will let him go and we’ll get more Usama
He’s gunna get overpaid somewhere else, so I say let him go. Hopefully Hagg/Young can fill in because they are cheap and already under contract. And yes, sign Dimitri soon.
Unfortunately indeed. The only guy on our defense last year with hands.
