Due to continued pain in his injured wrist, Cavaliers’ big man Anderson Varejao will not play the rest of the season. The pain is not from the fracture, but rather with the tendons or tissue in the wrist.
“It’s terrible that I’m not going to be able to play this season,” Varejao said. “The good thing is that the bone is healing well. I’ll keep working out but unfortunately I can’t play this season but I’m very excited for the Olympics.”
Varejao has been out since February 10th.
