By now, you have likely heard that Moondog, the Cleveland Cavaliers canine mascot, was hospitalized after being injured in a “play fight” with Indiana Pacers power forward David West. Video of the incident has finally surfaced. It’s from afar, so you’ll have to pay close attention to the key during the first few seconds.

Following the blow from West, Moondog’s inhabiter was taken to a local hospital, sustaining an injury to the human eye which existed beneath the fake one.
“I feel terrible about that, I really do,” West said following the game. “We were just having fun right before the game. We were just messing around. I really hope he’s OK. Make sure he knows I’m sorry.”
