This one was tough on the nerves… seemed like the Tribe was always a hit or two away from losing the game, but Pestano and Perez came up huge yet again. Glad to see the Tribe bats start to get hot in this one especially at the bottom of the order.

    Post game interview:
Katie: So Lonnie, what was working for you guys offensively tonight?
    Chiz: Me.

(ok so that’s obviously not what he said but I wish he had)

  • JM

Went to the game, was amazed at how loud the crowd was. About 20,000 people I believe.Very fun game to watch, hats off to the fans for giving Lonnie a standing ovation. Btw is there some reason sections are closed? Bad view of the game perhaps?

  • oribiasi

What is wrong with Derek Lowe? Has age finally caught up with him or are the demons of whatever feud is going on with him and Dusty Baker/The Reds just too much mental nonsense for him to overcome?

  • ClevelandFan14

They close off the sections with the worst view because they want to keep the number of employees they have to pay down. Considering attendance isn’t anywhere near capacity, everyone can fit into a limited number of sections. Why pay for dozens more employees to stroll sections 501-510 selling hotdogs when only 5 people will sit out there? And that’s not Dolan being cheap, that’s just smart business.

  • JM

Thanks, the only one sitting there was the strikeout guy haha
