June 25, 2012NBA Trade Rumors: Tiers, Tears and Anderson Varejao
June 25, 2012The Browns added a big name free agent to the team this season. Unfortunately, Michael Symon won’t help the team win many games on the field. Instead Symon, along with chefs Whalen and Sawyer will offer up grub for fans. From the Browns-
“Chefs Symon, Whalen and Sawyer have been at the forefront of Cleveland’s culinary revival. By bringing their talents to Cleveland Browns Stadium, the stadium will house the best of Cleveland’s food scene. The chefs’ authentic regional culinary expertise, proven track record of culinary success and excellence, appearances on the Food Network and receipt of local and national awards will create an immediate connection with fans.
Opening on the club level are outposts of Symon’s B Spot and Whalen’s Rosie & Rocco’s, while Sawyer will debut a brand new concept, Sawyer’s Street Frites, featuring the signature item from his flagship restaurant Greenhouse Tavern. In the suites, menus will feature signature items from these restaurants.
“Burgers, brats and Browns football! I have been a Cleveland Browns fan my whole life and it is an honor to now partner with them,” said Chef Symon. “I am excited to team with ARAMARK and chefs Whalen and Sawyer to offer a game day experience that is second to none.”
“As a proud Clevelander, I’m looking forward to serving Browns fans,” said Chef Sawyer. “Michael, Rocco and I are ready for the season to start and to transform Cleveland Browns Stadium into one of the best culinary experiences in all of sports.”
“I am grateful for the opportunity to partner with the Browns and ARAMARK and to cook for the team and fans that I grew up with. The only thing I love more than football is food and with Symon, Sawyer and Whalen in-the-house, the Browns now have an even bigger home field advantage,” said Chef Whalen.”
The new offerings will be available to those fans in the club and luxury suite level.

I love that these Cleveland natives will be representing us well and getting more business at the Stadium. As a season ticket holder in the Dawg Pound, I am disappointed they will only be in the club and suite level. Too bad they wouldn’t do something along the lines of the Food Network stands at Progressive Field, which are available throughout the park to everyone with high quality items.
I feel like this is a missed opportunity by only being available at the Club/Suite level. I would pony up for some of this food rather than the stale nachos/popcorn available but won’t pay the extra money to sit in the premium seats.
I was so excited to read that the Browns were going to finally fix there horrible overpriced menu till I saw that it will only be offered in the club/lux seat levels??? What the hell?? This is a slap in the face to all season ticket holders!!! It should be available to all fans!!
Or in other words.. you pay 8 bucks for a soyburger if your a regular Joe.. But if your in the club sections you pay 8 bucks for something edible?
Big Show get your act together!!
