While We’re Waiting… Beal is no Allen, more on Kidd-Gilchrist and Vizquel is shufflin’
June 27, 2012MLB News: Omar Vizquel to Retire after 2012 Season
June 27, 2012Pro Basketball Draft.com is reporting that the Cavaliers are bringing in Terrence Ross for a last minute workout. The 6’7″ wing played for the Washington Huskies and is expected to be drafted in the 11-17 range. The Cavaliers have reportedly been talking trade with anyone who will listen in an attempt to move back into the lottery.
Would the Cavaliers have enough trade ammunition to make a move for Ross? Who knows at this point. Chad Ford has Ross going off the board at 13 to the Suns. Another question might be would the Cavaliers would take 2 wings in the first round? Or could Ross be the pick if the Cavaliers trade out of #4 and obtain an extra lottery pick?
Here is Draft Express’ scouting video on Ross.

I may be wrong about this but didnt the cavs bring in TT for a last minute workout last year?
If he can play SG then I would gladly put him next to Barnes/MKG
Think this is an indicator of an enticing Varejao trade proposal?
Yes. TT was a last minute workout last season.
I can’t see the Cavaliers trading down out of #4 for just an extra pick. There is a difference between the top 4 and the rest. If anything I could see them moving up possibly and/or trading Varejao for a pick.
I think this means they are leaning toward MKG at 4 and a trade with 24 and Andy to get back in the lottery. Ross has a sweet shooting stroke, something they will need on the wing if they pick MKG over Barnes
this might be for the #7 pick the Warriors offered them. Varejao and #24 for #7.
Could be looking at our guy. His video looked great but they all do. Regardless he would be an upgrade over Parker.
