Helping bridge the gap between the NBA franchise and the D-League affiliate, the Cleveland Cavaliers will play host to the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday, October 9th at 7:00 p.m. at the Canton Memorial Civic Center in a preseason contest.
“This is an exciting situation for us to be able to bring a Cavaliers preseason game to Canton and continue to build and develop the deeper, long term relationship we want to have with our fans here and the community at large,” said Cavaliers and Quicken Loans Arena President Len Komoroski.
The Charge’s innaugural season was in 2011-12 where the team rostered 27 different players including Cavaliers’ Manny Harris, Christian Eyenga and Luke Haragody. Their season ended in the league semifinals, falling victim to the Austin Toros, one game shy of the NBDL championship series.
The remainder of the Cavaliers’ 2012-13 preseason schedule will be announced at a later date. All preseason games will be broadcast live on the Cavaliers’ Radio Flagship WTAM 1100 AM and WHBC 1480 AM in Canton.
