Video: Kyrie Irving, Team USA Ankle-Breaker

He didn’t get invited to join the Olympic team this year, but Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving certainly made his presence felt during his stay in Las Vegas.

The fun begins at about the 15-second mark. Do enjoy.

Obviously, these sort of events do not come littered with defense, but Irving’s quickness and ability to seemingly bounce off of would-be defenders makes one long for October.

    The thing that stands out to me about Kyrie is that he absolutely wants to KILL everyone out on the floor at any given time but he is so nice and easy-going off the court! I think people can’t believe this goofy kid is Isiah 2.0 on the floor! I think Kyrie thinks he’s the best basketball player on the floor every time he steps on the court. Even if it’s against the absolutely best players in the world. What his confidence will do for his teammates is immeasurable. I cannot believe Cleveland (Cleveland!!!) came out of the LBJ debacle with this kid. Amazing…

    awesome isnt it? i think hes the main reason i dont hate lebron… is it crazy to say i would rather start my franchise around kyrie rather than lebron? i know its prob biased and in hindsight but i honestly feel that way

    LOL! I had spent about 5 minutes trying to figure out if Coal Bell was some shadowy NBA “World Wide Wes” type figure I had never heard of.

    Either way, that’s truly amazing. I hope Coach K is still there in 2 years for the FIBA worlds. I’d love to see Kyrie at Camp K for a summer.
