Week 1 Open Thread: Browns Vs. Eagles

The NFL season is finally here, and the Browns open at home against the Eagles. It’s the 13th time in the 14-year history of the “new” Browns that the season opener will be held along Lake Erie. The Browns will be starting rookies at quarterback, running back, and right tackle. It’s the first time a team has started first-year players at those key positions since the inaugural season of the Houston Texans.

Most of the oddsmakers favor the Eagles by 10 points, but as we all know, anything can happen on any Sunday in the NFL. Join us in the comments for the first Sunday of the season.

Go Browns!

He was awful today. Not denying it. But I’m not going to label him a bust yet, nor am I going to start calling for McCoy as others have already done. I’m tired of playing that game, and for once would like to see a QB start all 16 games for us – then make a decision.

Yep. RGIII stunk 19-27 320yds and 2 TD’s. QB rating if 139+. I’ll take that kind of stunk any day.

  • Team Brady

    He was being facetious.

What did Cribbs do and that’s not sarcasm that’s a real question?

In Wolves’ defense, he hid it well.
