Buckeyes Move Up Two Spots In AP Poll

The Associated Press poll was announced this afternoon, and the Buckeyes have moved up two spots to #12. OSU is the highest ranked Big Ten school, with Nebraska, who take on the Buckeyes Saturday night in Ohio Stadium, coming in at #21 and Northwestern being ranked for the first time this season at #24. Michigan State fell from the rankings with their loss to the Buckeyes yesterday. Alabama is the unanimous #1 with Oregon, Flordia State, LSU, and Georgia rounding out the top five.

    OHIO drops to 34th and lost 10 votes (from 40 to 30) with their uninspired “win” againt awful UMASS. Should be interesting to see if they crack the top 25 even with an undefeated season. SOS just not there this year.
    Open the season at Louisville next year though which could be a nice jumpstart.
