Dan Gilbert Reveals New Cavaliers Alternate Uniform

Dan Gilbert took to twitter revealing a new alternate jersey for the upcoming season-

The text of the tweet-

“Just in a few minutes ago.AC found them in @cavs locker room.Cavs will wear ‘home yellows’ @10/30 opener”

So it appears the Cavaliers will be wearing these for the opener.

    Is this the alternate to the alternate to the alternate? How many jerseys do they have now? I give Gilbert credit tho even with a subpar product he manages to find ways to get people to buy merchandise.

    Thats just the NBA man, I swear they wear alternates more than their real jerseys. That being said, I like!

    I don’t think there is another NBA team with as many uniforms as the Cavaliers. Home, road, alternate and maybe one other would be plenty. I’m just pointing it out I don’t care if they have 1 or a 1000 I’m more interested in the players wearing those uniforms.

    Couldn’t agree more. I do think ol’ Uncle Drew and Slamwise gam-GEE will look good headed to the rack wearing these guys. Pretty optimistic about fighting for a 7 or 8 seed too

    This city can’t take a third team doing badly and while I’m cautiously optimistic and think it’ll be a tough, long season but there is an improvement in overall talent. I hope Weighters (not a typo) looks more like he did in college then the summer league. I’ll leave the playoff talk for others.

    As long as we keep getting better. Fighting for playoff spot doesn’t mean we’ll get it, but I think they will be playing meaningful games late into the year. (instead of sitting Kyrie for most of the last games with Tank-i-tis)

    I agree 100%, those are classic uniforms from the Nance, Price, Daugherty days…I think the new gold jerseys are alright to use on occassion, but we shouldn’t get carried away with them…lets not try to be the Lakers

    This is just the first step in the soon-to-be-announced McDonald’s sponsorship on unis for the Cavaliers.

    you said in gest, but that would be a major win for the organization. i’m thinking McD’s will end up on the Celtics jerseys (the golden arch wouldn’t work on the Lakers home golds afterall).
