Think there is any coincidence with that ranking?
In response to the big hoopla surrounding SI.com’s listing of the 100 must-follow Twitter accounts, Deadspin countered with its 67 “don’t follow” accounts. Obviously, there couldn’t be some type of critical Deadspin list without some type of Cleveland mention.
Here’s the snarky quote to go along with Deadspin’s review of Cleveland Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert at No. 23: “A constant reminder that in America, a bumbling old man can become a millionaire and own an NBA franchise.”
The only other professional sports owner on the list is the Indianapolis Colts’ Jim Irsay, plugging in at No. 8.
