First of all, I send out my condolences to his family. I’ve known his son David since he was a little boy. I have a lot of respect for Art. I always considered him a friend. He was a great visionary for the game of football. He should be in the Hall of Fame. [...] It was very tragic how he broke the heart of Cleveland fans, but that’s the reality and nothing can be done about it. We had our differences. I was fighting him all the time because of racial issues going on at that time. But overall, you could talk to him and reason with him. We all have to respect differences if you can relate and deal with your logic and deal with someone else’s.
