NFL News: Richardson, Haag, Cameron, Ogbonnaya Return to Practice; Haden Still Participating
September 5, 2012Chris Perez Compares Indians’ and Tigers’ Ownership, Blasts Decision-Making
September 5, 2012This week was again Rick and Craig mostly talking about the Browns. Again, despite my monitoring, Rick seemed a bit low in the mix. It is totally listenable, but we’ll keep working on making it better.
- Alex Smith is a captain for week one
- Trent Richardson is really important (duh!)
- Critical emails and how we deal with them
- The unwatchable (and mostly unwatched) Indians
- Plus some spontaneous love and plugs for Cavs Zine

We still don’t have a new opener, so I used a bit of a song by my band The Company Line (Spotify and Amazon) because I know for a fact that I own the rights to use it.
Maybe that’s the direction we should go. Would you guys like it if we featured local bands and musicians on the podcast? Lead-in with a clip and then end with a full track?
Let me know what you think. Otherwise, we’ll be pursuing a new opener sometime soon.

Good job, guys. I enjoyed that.
I could see them using Alex Smith as an example of a guy who worked his butt off in preparation for this week’s game. I’ve seen teams do that before when they have rotational captains giving it to the guy they thought worked the hardest and set an example in practice and in the weight room.
