AFC North: Ravens fear serious injuries to Ray Lewis, Ladarius Webb

The Ravens beat the Cowboys 31-29, but the win could have come at the expense of two key defensive players. Reports are that the Ravens are concerned that Ray Lewis might have torn a triceps, and Ladarius Webb might have torn his ACL.

Jeff Darlington from the NFL Network tweeted that the team fears that linebacker Ray Lewis may have suffered a torn triceps and starting cornerback Ladarius Webb may have torn his ACL. The injuries would further deplete the Ravens’ defense that’s already missing Terrell Suggs.

The Browns lose to Baltimore 23-16 in Baltimore on a Thursday night recently. Now, the face of the matchup could be wildly different if both of these injuries are as serious as the Ravens fear. The Browns host the Ravens on November 4th in Cleveland Browns Stadium at 1 PM.

    That’s a shame.

I wonder if it was his “knifing” arm…

and to be honest, Lewis is more inspiration to that team then play-maker these days. Ed Reed is way more of a Browns killer (pun intended) then Lewis ever was.

    Shucks.

and their defense was so dominant this year

seriously though, they have been finding a way to win as often as we have been finding a way to lose. they have had 3 games go down to the last play and a 4th they easily could have lost.

philly is showing us now that you can only win so many of those games before the breaks start to go the other way. we can only hope this is the start of those breaks going the other way for those putrid purple pretenders.
