Ohio State to Square Off Against TCU in 2018, 2019

The Ohio State Buckeyes will lock “horns” with the Frogs from Texas Christian University. The Plain Dealer’s Doug Lesmersis reports that the two teams will play in a home and home in 2018 and 2019.

The Buckeyes recently vaulted themselves to 12th in the Asdociated Press rankings following their win over the Spartans of Michigan State. TCU is presently ranked 15th, standing at 3-0 with wins over Virginia, Kansas and Grambling State. Their schedule wraps up with four teams presently ranked amongst the top 16.

    So, does TCU count as the little sisters of the poor, or did they only just play against them?

    That was my initial thought, too. It’s going to have to be there instead of their 45,000-seat stadium, right?

    Texas Christian is now a Big 12 team, good thing the Bucks can get some strong non-conference opponents (no offense Cal). We can keep a couple MAC or maybe Big East teams on the schedule in-state, but having major non-conference games is an overall boon. Now only if we can beat the (overrated) SEC teams…
