October 25, 2012Cavaliers News: Irving has wisdom teeth removed; Gibson returns to practice
October 25, 2012According to coach Urban Meyer’s call in show (hat tip to 97.1 The Fan’s Lori Schmidt) , RB Jordan Hall reinjured his knee in practice yesterday. The injury is serious enough that Hall likely won’t play again this season.
Meyer said “If all goes well, he’ll redshirt and come back next year.”
Hall played in parts of 5 games for the Buckeyes after missing the beginning of the season with a foot injury. For the season, Hall rushed for 218 yards and a touchdown.
Carlos Hyde and Braxton Miller will continue to provide the bulk of the rushing attempts, with sophomore Rod Smith getting the occasional carry.

With 40 carries on the season, I unfortunately can’t see the NCAA giving him a 5th year.
Yeah the NCAA isn’t about to give tOSU any favors
maybe ESPN could help us out?
The number of carries has nothing to do with a medical hardship. It is all about how many games you played and when you played them. It is usually pretty clear cut and if Urban is saying if all goes well I am assuming they know that he falls within those parameters.
