Box Score: Cavs 86, Bulls 115

This game was never close. The Bulls jumped out to a quick 7-0 lead and never looked back. Chicago doubled up the Cavs 32-16 after the first quarter and led 60-35 at the half.  The offense was stagnant, the defense was non-existent and Nate Robinson finished with a line of 16-5-12. It was that kind of night.

Cavs start their first road trip of the season  (a six gamer that takes them to both coasts) tomorrow when they travel to Milwaukee to face the Bucks at 8:30 pm.

I’m just going to pretend that the Cavs were forced to forfeit tonight’s game… they never stepped foot on the court at the Q.

A game like that really puts things into perspective. Listen, they beat a Wizards team who is ranked at the bottom of the barrel in power rankings, AND they are missing their two best players.

The Bulls came to town with an experienced playoff ready team. We won’t be winning those types of games right out the gate this year. Tonight should present a better opportunity, but with Jennings and Ellis looked like the back court we are hoping to one day be.

Things to take away: Walton played less than 5 minutes, Waiters had a down game, the team shot 52% from the charity stripe (???!!!), and it’s clear Scott is freely giving out minutes to anyone who shows up in a Cavs jersey.

Conclusion: I have no problem losing to the Bulls.
