Sekou Smith report: Cavaliers’ defense could hinder backcourt development
November 15, 2012Byron Scott says shorter rotation is Cavs’ “last resort”
November 15, 2012As Daryl Ruiter reports, the hits keep on coming for the Browns-
“Cleveland Browns cornerback Joe Haden has been sidelined with an oblique injury. The severity of the injury, whether or not he will be able to play against the Cowboys Sunday and how long it will keep him out is unknown. Haden was listed as limited Wednesday on the Browns’ injury report but he missed Thursday’s practice.”
Will Burge of ESPN 850 tweeted this following practice-
“Talked to someone who said Joe Haden’s oblique injury is fairly serious, has limited him mightily, but he still plans on playing Sun”
So there you go. Sounds like another tough blow for the defense.

CB+bad oblique=Big hole in defense
“Talked to someone…”
I hope they were associated with the team.
I’ve literally never heard of someone playing through a bad oblique injury. So either I just don’t listen very well, or Joe Haden is going to miss the game.
Maybe we get lucky and Buster Skrine grew a few inches during the bye-week.
Curious when Haden hurt himself – didn’t they just return to practice Wednesday?
Does this mean he can only run in straight lines?
Maybe his pursuit angles are off?
Or maybe it’s not really an “injury,” per se.
Either way, someone’s not being straightforward.
if you are thinking Skrine, then you probably don’t want to look at the injury report.
Haden, Skrine and Patterson all on it.
he’s only being straightforward. remember, he cannot twist with this injury.
But that’s what they want you to believe! They’re being deliberately oblique about it.
I hope this doesn’t hurt his ability to move ladderally.
opaque about the oblique? I demand transparency and tranlucency! such attenuation will not be tolerated.
Great so now he will really get burned by receivers.
