Browns vs. Raiders Reader Survey

A week after conquering a battered rival Steelers team, the Cleveland Browns take their renewed defensive health and struggling offense to Oakland to try to make sure they stay ahead in the power rankings. The Raiders are not good. The Browns aren’t good on the road. How does it come out in the educated minds of WFNY readers?

    I think the browns have a significant chance of winning two in a row. Since we are still riding the hype of defeating the Steelers even though they had their third stringer Charlie batch in we were still facing their first team offense! I think we will find a way of getting it done this Sunday. Cant wait!

    I actually think the Browns could win three, maybe four in a row. After Oakland we host KC (they really suck) and Washington (horrible defense, overrated QB).

    No team squanders momentum like this one. We will be teased throughout, but this has “frustratingly painful last-minute loss” written all over it. I’m thinking on the level of the 2007 match-up, which made the “last-second time out right before a field goal attempt” a thing in the NFL.

    Everything about this game says “win”. That’s why I’m worried. Nobody snatches defeat from the jaws of victory like the Browns.

    expect the SD game part2. the “Pineapple Express” tropical storm is going to be rolling 30-45mph winds and 20inches of rain over the Bay this weekend.

    let’s see how Weeden’s strong arm does this time.

    Worst thing for him at this point. He started terrible with the Philly game, then found his stride for like 4-5 games in a row. Since then, I wouldn’t call it regression….but he hasn’t kept progressing like he was in the beginning. I hope it is just a rookie wall. I was wishing for 70 degrees and perfect weather to allow him to have a breakout passing game on Sunday. Looks like the storm ruins those plans.

    yeah, Raiders have a bad secondary, so this doubly hurts if we cannot get good footing on routes.

    How many times over the past years have we gone into a Raider game thinking we had the upper hand only to come out with a loss? I can think of at least 2. Here is to history not repeating itself.

    we have won 7 of the last 10 meetings. Oakland is one of the few teams where we have had the upper hand.
