Positive news arrives from the Cleveland Browns media relations department today. And yes, I can’t remember the last time I typed such a sentence. But I’m sure this statement didn’t arrive immediately after the Ohio State Buckeyes game as merely just a coincidence:
After further and careful consideration, we felt it was in the best interests of everyone involved that we not have a giveaway item at tomorrow’s game. It is something that was intended to be fun for our fans and that they could rally around and we regret that some didn’t perceive it that way. We want to thank all of our fans for their tremendous support and we look forward to seeing them out in force at the stadium tomorrow.
So it looks like after all, there will be no white flag giveaway against the Pittsburgh Steelers after all. With Charlie Batch starting, Joe Haden playing and now this, the week has continued to get better and better for Browns fans.
