Sporting News players’ poll: Browns are the worst organization
November 6, 2012Jason Lloyd report: Chris Paul asked Byron Scott to switch defenders
November 6, 2012[The goal is] to win. If it’s a 100-yard game, it’s a 100-yard game. If it’s a 50-yard game, it’s a 50-yard game. As long as we are winning and as long as we are doing everything we can fundamentally to put our self in a better situation for winning the game. […] I’m very excited about these last seven games because we can make a big difference especially when people think about the Cleveland Browns. We can write our own story off right here. It’s a big chapter right here – what we demand on this team and what we want our season to end like.
— Cleveland Browns running back Trent Richardson, when asked what he goals are for the rest of his rookie season. On the season, the Browns are 2-7 while Richardson has rushed for 575 yards and five touchdowns.

I would like to see Trent finish at about 1200+ YDs and 10+ TDs, Weeden 3500 18 16, Gordon close to 900 8, and little 700 6…..And I would like to see owen make a catch
Ha, keep dreaming on the last one, buddy. Although maybe he’ll have his Rudy moment one day
those Weeden numbers would be worse than what Colt did last season (extended to 16 games).
He is on pace for:
3700yds
16TDs
21INTs
The INTs number has been down recently and the TDs number has been up, so let’s hope that trend continues and those 2 numbers end up in reverse at the end of the season. And, I’d like him to get over 4000 yards. I think he can get there.
Richardson is just on pace for 1000yds 9TDs (unless you count receving, then he’s on pace for 1450yds 11TDs)
I’d like him to get over that 1500yds from LOS mark and get to 15 TDs, but I have less faith as rookie RBs tend to wear out near the end of the year.
Gordon pace is 741yds 8TDs (but he didn’t start the first 3 games either)
Little pace is 535yds 4TDs
Richardson seems to be maturing into a leadership role on the team. We would be much better and getting more positive national attention if we have a competent HC, which is the Browns biggest need now (and we can’t get that from the draft).
My numbers for Weeden came from about 220 a game, and give or take 1.5 tds per game the rest of the season. I would like to see him above 4000 too, but I think that we are going to be trying to manage some of the games (PITx2) and try to keep them lower scoring.
Stickem
I want to see him average over 100 the last 7 games to get to 1200. I think he can do it, just need to give him the ball
Little will have 1 or two games where he breaks out and goes over 100, and will average 40-50 the other 5 games. So my math puts him over 700, but he needs to play like is is capable of playing
Owen Marecic couldn’t catch hypothermia standing in Public Square soaking wet and naked in the middle of January
yeah, I just wanted to list the “pace” settings they have put forth so far so people could see what they would need to do (improve, stay steady, etc.)
Love this, especially with Richardson and Weeden. Having more TDs than picks wold be nice, and having ore rushing yards than Martin would be nice as well. I hate all he skeptics saying Martin was a better draft choice. TRich is going to have a monster second half. Raiders and Chiefs and Redskins, OH MY!
