After a health scare that could have left him dead, Cleveland Browns guard Jason Pinkston says that he plans on returning next season.
Pinkston was hospitalized in October following a game against Cincinnati with blood clots in his lungs. Per the Associated Press’ Tom Withers, the second-year offensive lineman stated doctors told him if he had taken a hit in the game that he could’ve probably died.
“I’m all happy about it that I’m still here,” said Pinkston. Thinking he only had bronchitis, Pinkston has been working out, has been prescribed blood-thinning medication, and said he feels ”normal” and is looking forward to resuming his career.
