With baseball’s winter meetings about to begin, ESPN’s Jayson Stark took a survey of MLB executives, agents, and scouts about some of the bigger headlines that may come out of the meetings. In it, four of the seventeen label Asdrubal Cabrera as the “most likely to get traded”, garnering the second most votes behind Rays pitcher James Shields. Two of those surveyed also said the Tribe would be “this year’s Angels” and dominate the headlines.
Other sections include comments about Cabrera’s asking price being so incredibly high that he may end up not getting moved. In addition, one describes the Indians as “ready to retool and get younger.”
