January 2, 2013Andy Varejao, Daniel Gibson out for tonight
January 2, 2013The Indians got some much-needed depth in their starting rotation. Whether the name is Roberto Hernandez, Fausto Carmona or Brett Myers, that depth doesn’t come cheap.

Myers will be a starter for #Indians. they are much improved #obvs

Heyman thinks that it has made the Indians better and probably also factors in the Nick Swisher signing and the addition of Terry Francona.

Holy crap…I was thinking more in the 4-5 range…
The extra is to help wash the “Dolan’s r cheap” stank off
That’s funny, I was thinking $8-$9. They split the difference on us.
Still curious about that year 2 option that was reported, and what the buy-out language is.
Free agents are expensive. This just proves why it made sense to pick up Ubaldo’s option, even despite his struggles.
After hearing Myers’s obscene presser outburst was wondering: if they keep Chris Perez maybe they’ll hate each other (being so alike) and possibly choke or otherwise sabotage each other as they try to talk to the press. A kind of “not now, Cato!” Pink Panther thing.
In lieu of on-field success, this is the kind of entertaining baseball I fantacize about.
Is it safe to assume then that the Indians are done spending…or can we hope against hope for, say, Marcum?
With Myers, Perez, and Bauer all on the same team, the Indians have some hot-headed personalities on the roster this year.
Nothing wrong with a little enthusiasm….little being the key word
Better get out the steel wool for that one…
Marcum would be nice too – dare to dream!
is it a one year deal?
I think got the right manager for the job.
