June 27, 2013Unable to make a deal involving their second-round selections, the Cleveland Cavaliers have traded the 31st-overall selection to the Portland Trailblazers for two future second-round selections.
The Cavs selected Allen Crabbe, a guard from California, but he will be moved in the deal once it is made official. The trade was first reported by ESPN’s Jeff Goodman.

Yea this was surprising.
I knew we were going to make a deal with Portland! Wait, for Crabbe?!? Never mind, I have no idea what’s going on.
Bennett, Karasev, and Crabbe all offense-first guys. Mike Brown is a defensive wizard, but he’s only got so many magic spells. Makes sense to move him for future assets.
