2013 NBA Draft: Cavs trade the 31st-overall pick to Portland Trailblazers

Unable to make a deal involving their second-round selections, the Cleveland Cavaliers have traded the 31st-overall selection to the Portland Trailblazers for two future second-round selections.

The Cavs selected Allen Crabbe, a guard from California, but he will be moved in the deal once it is made official. The trade was first reported by ESPN’s Jeff Goodman.

I loved this selection and now it’s all for 2 future 2nd rounders? Get that weak stuff out of here!

    Yea this was surprising.

I knew we were going to make a deal with Portland! Wait, for Crabbe?!? Never mind, I have no idea what’s going on.

Bennett, Karasev, and Crabbe all offense-first guys. Mike Brown is a defensive wizard, but he’s only got so many magic spells. Makes sense to move him for future assets.
