October 28, 2013The second BCS standings were released Sunday night, and the Buckeyes find themselves firmly entrenched in the number four spot again.
Ohio State dominated Penn State to the tune of 63-14 on Saturday night, enjoying their most complete win of the season. Ohio State actually gained ground on the number three spot. Florida State and Oregon swapped spots above OSU, with Oregon taking the number two spot to match their slot in the AP and Coaches’ polls.
Ohio State got breathing room behind them as previously undefeated Missouri lost to South Carolina. The loss dropped the Tigers to ninth in the BCS. Stanford is now fifth, but has a loss already.
Top ranked Alabama plays LSU on November 9th, and travels to Auburn at the end of November. Second ranked Oregon plays Stanford on November 7th. Number three Florida State’s toughest test comes this Saturday against Miami.

don’t forget that Oregon also still have Oregon State left to play. Weird things have happened in that series. for FSU, I think Gainesville is a slightly tougher task than the Hurricanes at home. heck, the rematch with the Canes in Atlanta might be the one for them to worry about.
would be fitting if all four teams finished the year undefeated in dominating fashion the year before the 4team playoff.
