Tuesday’s best tweets about the Indians AL Wild Card game

With the Indians hosting the Tampa Bay Rays tonight at Progressive Field, I thought it was worthwhile to parse through all of the best pictures on Twitter on Tuesday to share with you on the site. Here, without further bantering, are my favorite 13 best tweets (almost all pictures) from all separate accounts during the day on Tuesday, all about prepping for today’s big AL Wild Card showdown.

This should be a nice bonus! Don’t forget about these, tweeps.

Love it! I’ll be wearing my red all day at work today in Kent.

Spoiler: You’ll see this sign again later, as shared yesterday on the site.

Even the governor got into it yesterday. Poor Cincinnati … not.

Oh man, this gets me so hyped. Playoff baseball! In Cleveland!

Yup, we shared this yesterday. These Goon Squad pictures are so cool.

The only non-picture in this listing: How can you not love this?

Can’t wait to just follow along on the scoreboard tonight. So amped!

Rachel Nichols will be at the game. That’s how you know it’s legit.

Do you follow Jeremy Guy yet? Because you should. This MAC maven is a great follow.

Indians! Batting! In! October! Man, this is so cool.

Field looks great. Thanks Steph!

And finally, some more chickens. Who doesn’t love more chickens?

Go Tribe. Hope to see you at the game tonight. There should be at least half of the WaitingForNextYear crew at the game. Find us on Twitter to meet up with us at various points. Look forward to seeing you there!

TD should have a Tampa Bay preview soon this morning and we’ll have plenty more content before tonight’s 8 p.m. showdown.

Pretty chill of Gov. Kasich to throw a shoutout to Kentucky’s playoff team.

Very nice. But stopped cold at Stephanie Storm’s pic of the painted banners showing all playoff years. Right after 1954 is … 1995.

Those old enough to have followed the Indians many years at Muni know: it’s wise not to take any playoff game – the electric atmosphere, the bunting on the facades of the stands, the pitch to pitch tension – for granted. You have no idea whether the next one will be this weekend or in 40 years from now. I’m going to have that in mind, for sure.

I’ll be there in section 125 tonight!

Yeah, I was in high school the first time the Tribe made the playoffs in my lifetime. My dad had a son in high school the first time in his lifetime!

    301! Roll Tribe!

    Well said!

I am sticking my chest out as a proud Indians fan in a sea of Cardinals fans (unquestionably the most annoying fans in the history of sport) out here in St. Louis. With all due respect to Mr. Adams, they will hear my own rally drums from my home this evening…I promise that.

    Go Tribe.

Terrific post, Jacob. Enjoyed that very much.

I’m starting to get the butterflies.

    567 for me.

Thank ya sir. I was getting excited myself — had to share.

  • Natedawg86

I am doing it in a sea of Orioles fans. Though somedays I blend in with my orange, not today!

I lived in Baltimore for a while as well…..so good luck!
