WFNY’s 12 Days of Christmas giveaways continue

Apologies for no giveaway yesterday. Emergencies happen.

WFNY_12Days_Eddie

One of our partners again this Christmas is Gray and Company Publishers. They have supplied us with several books to include in our giveaways, and we couldn’t be more thankful. Let’s get to today’s giveaway.

The Rules:

Here’s how the giveaway works. For the next 12 weekdays we will give away a Cleveland themed prize. To enter, you need only to respond in the comment section in the appropriate manner. The winner each day will be randomly selected and notified by email. (Which means you better make sure that the email address you use to comment here is a legit one.) I cannot guarantee delivery by Christmas. We’ll do our best with the things we have in hand. Only one member of a household can enter each day, and only one winner per household during the length of this contest. Just spreading the love around.

Today’s Prize:

TaitToday, in honor of the Cavaliers’ win last night, we are giving away a copy of Joe Tait: It’s Been a Real Ball by Tait and Terry Pluto. Not only was Tait the best play-by-play man in basketball, but he could rock a Christmas sweater as well.

In addition, we’re going to send you and a  guest to a Cavs game. Tuesday, January 7th against the 76ers. Winner needs to have a Flashseats account or sign up for one in order to receive the ticket transfer.

The Cavs are lurking around that 8th spot in the uninspiring Eastern Conference playoff competition. It’s a long season, but every win counts. Hopefully they can avenge that ugly loss to the 76ers.

Today’s Question:

Cleveland has had it’s share of great play-by-play  broadcasters. It is also one of the pioneering cities for sports talk radio. Today’s question: Who is your favorite all-time Cleveland sports radio personality?

Comments must be posted by midnight Cleveland time in order to qualify for the drawing. Check back tomorrow at noon for the next contest. Remember, only one entry is allowed, but you may still comment to add to the discussion.

  • Ezzie Goldish

I don’t care if it’s past midnight, I just saw this now and I want to answer!

Who is your favorite all-time Cleveland sports radio personality?

Joe Tait, but it’s incredible to live in a city that had Joe, and still has Tom Hamilton and Jim Donovan. And had Nev Chandler and Casey Coleman. And Herb Score.
